2013 Summer Tryout Information
YOUTH TRYOUTS
Youth tryouts may seem far away, but it will come quickly upon us. This years Youth tryouts will be held at Severn Private School turf fields on February 9th and 10th. I have a good feeling that tryouts will be very competitive, so keep the stick in your hands and get ready for a great tryout. Read all the information below, fill out the registration form and pay online. Thanks so much, see you all in February.
5 Referrals and you get a free tryout
On the registration form there is a spot at the bottom in which the players that your refer can add your name to it. If you get 5 referrals, then your registration for tryouts will be free. If you already paid, we will give you a $50 refund.

Tryout Cost
There will be a non-refundable Tryout Fee of $50: This will pay for insurance and field usage.
You will use your PayPal account (if you have one), or you can use a credit card of your choice. ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID ONLINE. If there is an issue with this, contact me by using the comments section on the form below.
TEAM BREAKDOWNS
Here is the breakdown of age (We keep our teams strictly by grade level):
Summer Commitments
All teams will play in 4 summer tournaments, two weekend tournaments and two one day tournaments, along with one travel tournament. In order to be on the team, you must commit to play in at least three of the four tournaments. The following is our schedule for our youth teams:
We will practice starting the first weekend of June. We will practice 2 or three times a week for the first few weeks. After our first tournament, we will go down to 1 to 2 practices a week. A minimum of 10 practices will occur in the summer.
COST For the Summer
All Youth level teams will have a membership fee of $650. A $150 non-refundable payment will be due by February 20th. The $150 will go toward your overall fee.
All of our adult coaches decided to volunteer their coaching services. Each team will get one college coach that will be paid some money (those college kids need some love :-)
Your membership pays for the uniforms, college coaches, field usage fees an other administrative costs.
If you have money issues, I am always willing to work with you and your family.

- Severn private school side by side turf fields
- Saturday February 9th and Sunday February 10th
- RAIN DATE: We will use Arden fields hopefully the third weekend of February but will not know times
- 4th/5th grade team, 6th grade team will tryout from 12:00 - 1:30
- 7th grade team and 8th grade team will tryout from 1:30 - 3:00

- U11 (4th/5th grade team combined) - Birthdate on or after 9/1/2001. It is possible we have a 4th grade team and a 5th grade team if we have enough players tryout, but we have done a mix of the two grades the last two summers.
- U13 - We will field two teams at this age level, a 6th grade team and a 7th grade team. Birthdate on or after 9/1/1999
- U15 (8th grade team) - Birthdate on or after 9/1/1997

- Summer Exposure: June 15th - 16th (LOCAL TOURNAMENT, 2 Days)
- VACATION TIME: NO PRACTICE June 17th - 23rd
- lax HERO: June 29th or June 30th, 2013 (LOCAL TOURNAMENT, 1 Day)
- Bay Bridge Brawl: July 5th, 2013 (Cost is 1350) (LOCAL TOURNAMENT, 1 Day)
- Hershey: July 12th - 14th, 2013 (Friday and Saturday night hotel) (TRAVEL TOURNAMENT, 2 Days)
